Over the course of the next few months we will be working with students from Buffalo Charter School as they tackle a video contest being run by the Buffalo Niagara Manufacturers Alliance and Northland Workforce Training Center.
CPI to work with Buffalo Charter School on video project
This competition challenges the students to explain “what’s so cool about manufacturing.” In the contest, Buffalo Charter will be competing against 9 other middle school teams from across the region.
The video the students will be making will be a compilation of interviews of factory personnel along with general footage they will take of the facility. There is an “American Idol” style voting system that is used to choose the video for the People’s Choice award.
We look forward to giving the students a chance to go after the big prize and we think our super-massive machines will help make some great footage for them.
