The Confer Plastics brotherhood lost one of their own yesterday, and a good one, too, in Arthur Kisloski. Known by “Arch” or “Artie” by everyone at the plant, he had to retire prematurely just over 2 years ago because of cancer. He fought it valiantly but that horrible disease took him at just 58 years of age. Artie was a friend, mentor, and father figure to many at the plant and we had the honor of working with him for 33 years. He was always good-natured, helpful and interested in seeing the company and his coworkers succeed in his duties as a set-up technician. These classic photos show him as a young buck back in 1996 and at our 40 year open house in 2013 when he was the greeter for all 600 people who visited us on that day. He will be missed…many a man shed a tear at the plant yesterday for our dear friend.
